From January to February 2025, China's cumulative stainless steel imports were approximately 322,000 tons, a decrease of 133,500 tons year-on-year, with a decline rate of 29.3%.
China's stainless steel imports are relatively concentrated in a few regions, mainly from Indonesia, Japan, and South Korea. From January to February 2025, imports from these three regions totaled 299,000 tons, accounting for 92.8% of the total imports. The cumulative imports from the top five regions from January to February 2025 were approximately 309,000 tons, accounting for 95.9% of the total imports.

From January to February 2025, China's cumulative stainless steel exports were approximately 755,400 tons, an increase of 80,000 tons year-on-year, with a growth rate of 11.8%.
