ASTM 201 202 304L 316L 8K Stainless Steel Coil Cold Rolled Hot Rolled
Description:
In ASTM A240, type 316 and 316L is a chromium nickel austenitic steel, Element molybdenum addition can enhances corrosion resistance of stainless steel, which is the main factor that 316/316l is more corrosion resistant than 304/304l.
316L stainless steel is almost identical to 316. The only difference is the carbon content. 316L's lower carbon content imparts even better corrosion resistance than 316. 316L does not require post-weld annealing.
